I’m Sam, the founder of
ShugaPott Birth & Wellness—a space dedicated to empowering, educating, and uplifting birthing people and their families. My journey into birth work began as a Doula, driven by a deep passion for providing a space for supporting families during the perinatal period.
As I witnessed the disparities in maternal health, particularly the lack of kindness for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, it became clear that change was needed—not just in birth support, but within the system itself.
